JIU-JITSU CUBS PROGRAM
JIU-JITSU CUBS PROGRAM

About The Cubs Program
At Inverted Gear Academy, our goal is to help kids with skills that they can transfer to other sports and everyday life
With current world events, kids have been forced to be indoors without an outlet for their pent up energy
In our Cubs Program we put our kids through warmups and drills to help them with their balance, coordination and problem solving skills.
We’re committed to giving cubs a space to have fun and learn

Role Models
Kids at an early age are like sponges and soak up everything around them. Good Or bad. Thats why it's important to have positive influences in their life. At Inverted gear they'll have plenty of role models to look up to and with coaches that care they'll be lead down the right path.
Happy Parents
Nothing makes a parent happier than seeing their child having fun. Our goal as instructors is to make the class enjoyable so they want to keep coming back. And most importantly we burn all that pent up energy so when they get home they're ready to settle down.
Health & Fitness
Nearly 1 in 3 children are overweight or obese. Thats why its more important than ever to get your child moving and teach them healthy habits. With Jiujitsu they stay active while learning other skills like balance, coordination, and discipline.
Social Skills
With more kids learning virtually its hard for them to develop real life social skills. The great thing aboout jiu-jitsu is it helps kids build freindships and the confidence to be themsleves. We're creating an enviroment where they feel safe to laugh, learn, and play.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art that focuses on grappling and ground fighting. The art developed out of the early judo that made its way to Brazil around 1914, where practitioners like the famous Gracie family refined it over the next century. BJJ became known to the rest of the world in the 1990’s when Royce Gracie won the first UFCs with ground fighting and submission holds. Since then, BJJ has remained a major part of mixed martial arts (MMA) and has developed internationally as a sport and hobby.
